Unbelievable Knowledge Learned

Thinking I knew a lot and discovered I knew a lot about applications, however, knowing the ins of the computer is a different story. During this course I have gained such knoweldge about properly making a computer work and how to troubleshoot prior to resorting to others. I didn't have the knowledge, previously, on how to troubleshoot when something is wrong with the mechanics of the computer. Now...after researching the functions, I can be a better source to staff.

This class has had me realize how important it is to back-up data, have updated anti-virus software, and keeping files in the proper location. I find that at work I take assumptions this is just happening, but in reality, when it comes to network back-ups this is happening, but the end users still need to monitor their own computers on their desks.

Now I know more about why I need to do these things at home and work!

  1. Interesting observations. As you troubleshoot more often, solving most problems will become intuitive. Somebody will describe a problem to you, and before they complete the description, you will have a good idea of what's happening.
