InTime Site and Video

Though I am not an actual classroom teacher, there are items in the InTime Site that have provided great input on tasks that can be implemented for teachers, principals, support staff, and district administrators. The participular area that I payed closed attention to was the area of the model of Quality Education Model. This model demonstrated how to implement technology within the entire district. Not only did it demonstrate areas that needed to be concentrated on, it also gave feedback how to successfully achieve the goal. Areas of this model included:

1. Tenents of Democracy which included: Individuals responsibility, tolerance, critical thinking (student areas)
2. Content Standards which included: Areas of studies (i.e. academic areas including encore selections)
3. Information Process which included: communicaton, evaluation, research, etc.
4. Principals of Learning which included: Involvement, feedback, implementing the tasks
5. Finally the ultimate goal: Student at the center of THEIRS learning

This model is a great tool that could assist all individuals involved in student learning and incorporated more technology into the curriculum and give the students the tools to exceed their own expectations.
